Frukost

Karin:
My standard breakfast is a smoothie. I usually trash one straw every morning, not cool anymore! I like drinking from a straw so I'm gonna se how long I can use one straw (rinsing it out). If it gets disgusting I'll just have to drop the straw and eat with a spoon. As you can see the other trash produced from my breakfast; banana and rhubarb peel. They go straight into my new awsome balcony compost! I wonder what my flatmate will think about this?

Pernilla: That is for sure an awesome compost! Love it! Eh, do you have any idea to what to do with the soil you hopefully will produce?

Garbage

Karin:
Came home from work to find this in the kitchen. Me and my roomie have filled this up over the past 3-4 days. (Note that this is a big garbage bag!) It's a nice mix of hard and soft plastic, food, metal, paper, cardboard and so on... really horribe. Well, time to deal with it.

Basic shopping

Karin:
First food shopping. Luckily I remembered to bring my basic fabric bag this time so no paperbag needed, good!
Rhubarbs, oranges, bananas and soap I could find completely unpackaged wich was nice (specially soap!). The pineapple had a big paper label on it, unnecessary right? So I was going to get pesto and I had two choices: ready made witch would leave me with a glass jar or home made wich left me with plastic wrappers for basil and cashews and hard + soft plastic on the parmesan chese. I chose home made because the ready made looked too green in a wierd way. But I can't really decide what would be better here, what do you think? Shampoo is a hard one, couldn't find any refills or dry shampoo but I will probably only use one bottle of shampoo for the remainder of my stay in Munich so I bought a recyclable plastic one. No I'm gonna go make a compost on the balcony, let's see how that goes...

Blog is up!

Karin:
Blog is up! Lets start dealing with it, shall we?

Pernilla: Go go go!
